The Mean Greens Banner by evilsmiley2
The Mean Greens Banner
This is a recent banner image I created for our new game The Mean Greens store.steampowered.com/app/360…

I posed all the characters, setup lighting and post processing effects then rendered out at 4k resolution. Our 2D artist Pedro Lopes did the final post work in Photoshop. I had a blast working on The Mean Greens (and still do, we're still creating content); it is a really small team of good friends. I was responsible for all the animation in the game, as well as any cinematic images or video.

So yeah, I figured I'll try to get to posting some of my more recent work on here. A lot of what I've done lately is still bound by a NDA which prevents me from showing stuff off. But more than anything I've just been too busy/lazy to post stuff.

Some of the stuff I've been working on lately is character development for Dlala Studios for them I'm creating a ton of characters and doing all their animation for their upcoming game Overruled. So far it's been a pretty fun project and the game is too damn fun to stop playing I highly recommend checking it out.

I've also been working on an unannounced project for Virtual Basement ... I REALLY can't wait till stuff from this project can be shown off/talked about. All I can say is Unreal Engine 4 is so amazing ;)

Still doing a lot of web development work lately too I've got links to a lot of what I've done on my (unfinished of course) website Pravus Media...someday I'll actually make my own website.

I've also been doing a lot of promotional stuff for Executive Interiors . One of which I just posted, but I've done a lot more that I'll try to upload in the near future. I also took on a gig this summer that had me creating/designing games for electronic gambling for a company out of St. Paul, MN. It was a pretty fun project and I made a TON of stuff for that.

So yeah, hopefully I'll have lots of cool stuff in the near future to put up here so it doesn't look so dead. I want to thank everyone who's added my art to their favorites as well as those who are watching my (barely active) page here. :)

yeah, I don't update it as much as I should (as most people do). Hopefully I'll be able to show off some of my more recent contract work really soon.

Cool. I can't wait to see them. I'm messing around with twitter and a couple things. Seeing how social networking and all that jazz works. I'll definitely try to spread the word when you post them. It's a bummer you don't live closer. I'd bug you all the time to see how you do the animation and zbrush stuff. I really love the 3d sculpting. :P

I've been checking out your 3D models and I am very impressed! Out of curiosity, what modeling program(s) do you use, and do you use any sculpting programs to get the finer details in the models? :)

Thanks.

I generally use 3Ds Max and zBrush for modeling. Photoshop and zBrush for texturing and Max for rigging and animating (even though I like maya for animating more, I just don't know how to rig in it yet :) ).

I was going to guess as much. I know next to nothing of rigging in Maya, I was able to make a tube wiggle once.
